Sam and I had a talk this morning, and it turns out that he was paying attention. I told him that he needed to tell me that he had to pee BEFORE he peed. (He is super at telling me he has to pee while he is peeing all over the floor, or the chair, or in his pants...) Next thing I know, Sam tells me he's peeing (but he's not), I help him sit on the potty, and the pee just starts flowing. And here's what we got:
Look at all that pee! We danced and cheered and ate "potty candy." Sam hasn't peed again since, but he did sit on the potty before his nap. We'll see if this is a one time thing, or a trend. But either way, I'm shouting it from the rooftops: SAM PEED IN THE POTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
