But today was wonderful! Sam, apparently, didn't cry at all until 11:30 (which is when we eat lunch and he starts to get sleepy when he's at home with me). I stayed and played with him for a few minutes to get him settled since he started crying immediately when we got to the door of the school. But he was engrossed in playing with a car toy, and didn't even notice when I snuck out. Apparently, that was the trick!
And here's Sam's latest art project - clouds made with shaving cream and glue. Apparently, he had a bit of a meltdown when they tried to put an apron on him, though. This is no surprise since he has refused to wear a bib for the past 6 months or so...

Glad to see Sam is so creative, those are some pretty interesting glue/shaving creme clouds! I think he's very brave, I think it would be hard to leave such a great mom even for a fun school where you play with glue and shaving creme.
